Acquisitions/Cataloging Librarian - School of Law

Mississippi College is seeking qualified applicants for the position Acquisitions/Cataloging Librarian, School of Law. The Acquisitions/Cataloging Librarian orders and processes all materials which are added to the collection or are used for the daily operation of the library and also catalogs all material added. This position also maintains the library’s integrated library system (ILS) and oversees the library’s government depository program in addition to managing the library’s budget. Qualifications

  • M.L.I.S. from accredited program is required
  • Strong service orientation and organization skills
  • Experience with automated library systems
  • Knowledge of RDA and Library of Congress classification
  • Experience with Sierra ILS is preferred.
