Assistant/Associate Professor - Department of Mathematics

Mississippi College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor position in Mathematics beginning in August 2021. A successful candidate is expected to hold a doctorate in Mathematics with demonstrated instructional skills who is eager to join an outstanding department to provide high quality service to its students. Applicants will be expected to develop content and teach in the university’s online program and to serve as a resource person for part-time instructors assigned to other service coursework in Mathematics. Experience in using technology including online homework is expected. Teaching responsibilities include approximately 12 hours per week of instruction, plus office hours for student counseling and contact. In addition to teaching responsibilities, this position requires involvement in departmental and campus-wide committees.
