Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff,
Mississippi College has updated its isolation and quarantine protocols to be consistent with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s latest guidance. To review these important changes, please visit the Rise Up website. If you have questions that are not answered on the website, call the COVID-19 Hotline at 601-925-3030.
We need your help to continue to protect the health and safety of our MC family, especially vulnerable populations on our campus and in our community.
What you can do to help:
- If you are eligible and have not already, please sign up to get the vaccine and booster. Getting vaccinated is the best protection against the Omicron variant.
- Please continue to practice safety protocols such as wearing a well-fitted mask indoors, avoiding large, unmasked gatherings, and washing your hands frequently.
- If you develop any COVID-19 symptoms, call the Baptist Medical Clinic at 601-924-9005 or your health care provider to arrange for a test.
- If you test positive for COVID-19, notify the COVID-19 Hotline at 601-925-3030 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
immediately to coordinate MC’s response.
The Omicron variant spreads rapidly, but we are confident that by adhering to the health and safety measures that have guided us through this pandemic, we will rise together and have a successful spring semester.
