COVID-19 Protocols for Residence Life

  • Each student residing in on-campus housing will be required to sign and return a release, waiver, and assumption of risk form pertaining to the risk of acquiring COVID-19 on campus.

  • Move-in procedures will incorporate physical distancing, extended schedules to minimize crowds and limit the number of individuals in hallways and stairwells, daily health checks, and COVID-19 testing.

  • Physical distancing will be required in all common areas in residential halls, including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, and other shared spaces.

  • Residential students should have hand sanitizer, cloth face coverings, a thermometer, and disinfectant wipes.

  • Face coverings are required throughout all residence halls, except when a student is in his or her own room or apartment.

  • Temperature checks will be required daily and uploaded to the #CampusClear app.

  • Ice machines and water fountains without touchless fill stations will be turned off.

  • Residents will be required to sign a community standard and roommate contract in order to live on campus.

  • Non-compliance with residence hall COVID-19 protocols and practices will result in disciplinary action.
