Mississippi College has two teams that welcome new students to campus each year. Both work very hard to provide a quality experience for new students and show off what it means to be an MC student.
The Orientation Team is made up of Small Group Leaders and OLs Behind the Scenes that put on our summer orientation experiences. Our summer orientation experiences are meant to help introduce new students to campus life, both inside and outside the classroom. New students leave orientation with a picture of what it means to be an MC student, as well as their academic schedule for the fall semester. Small Group Leaders host new students in small groups, connecting them with academic departments and ways to get involved on campus. OLs Behind the Scenes work during orientation on setting up events and literally working "behind the scenese" to insure orientation is a quality experience for everyone.
This year's tentative dates for Freshmen Orientation Sessions:
June 3-4, 2021
