Do you want to get involved in a student committee? There are many ways to get involved, and you can use the form below to apply for three committees:
Homecoming Committee (2019)
The Homecoming Committee works with the student Homecoming Chairperson and the Office of Student Life to plan the student activities during Homecoming. Those activities include Homecoming Parade, tailgate, Follies After Party, Float Building, Choctaw Cheer-Off and others planned throughout Homecoming Week. Students that want to be involved with Homecoming Committee that do not have time to be involved are Follies Chairs and Club/Tribe VPs/Rush Chairs. Homecoming Committee meetings for Homecoming 2019 will begin in February/March. Homecoming 2019 is the week of October 21-26, 2019.
Family Weekend (2019)
The Family Weekend Committee works with the Office of Student Life to plan Family Weekend which is scheduled for September 20-21, 2019. Family Weekend includes events and activities that engage families visiting campus for the weekend. Past events include Pops at the Presidents House, movie night in Olde Towne Clinton, tailgating and more. Planning and meetings for Family Weekend 2019 will begin in February/March 2019.
Student Productions Committee
The Student Productions Committee works with the Office of Student Life to plan and execute student production events like Swerve, Rush Skits and Follies. Members of the committee assist participants in planning, as well as work backstage and during rehearsal weeks to make each show the best it can be. Experience in productions is appreciated but not required to be on this committee. The first production this committee will work on is Swerve 2019 scheduled for Thursday, February 28, 2019.
