About Me

I am a native of Yazoo City, Mississippi. I attended parochial and public schools graduating from Yazoo City High School in 1970.

I graduated from Mississippi College with a BS.ED in Elementary Education. I later earned a M.Ed. in Elementary Education with a certification in  Educational Administration.

I was a classroom teacher for 24 years in which I taught in Yazoo City, MS, Crystal Springs, MS, Jackson, MS, and New Orleans, LA.    I served as an Elementary Principal in the Jackson Public School District for 14 years.  During my years as Principal of Oak Forest Elementary, I served as Principal Coach for the Forest Hill Feeder Pattern.
