Leads students to explore and develop traditional and contemporary skills in visual design and communication.
In the Art Department, every professor desires to walk alongside their students and teach them skills that will carry them through a lifelong career. Students may also minor in studio art or choose a concentration in ceramics, sculpture, or painting.
Classes such as figurative form, art history, business and the sale of art, and 3D and abstract design, will build each student's portfolio and challenge them to improve their skills. Any student possessing a passion for art will be equipped for various careers such as art therapist, art consultant, curator, professional artist, senior designer, gallery director, illustrator, professional potter, or set designer.
