The MC Welcome Center in Alumni Hall
As you walk through the wide-open green space of the Quad and past the storied brick entrance of Alumni Hall, you’ll feel it: inspired. Inspired to explore, inspired to try, inspired to discover. Whatever you’re interested in—you’ll have the chance to dive deeply into it. The kinds of people you’ve always wanted to meet—you’ll learn with them and from them, worship alongside them, and develop friendships with them that will last for life. Welcome to MC.
At MC, the way you learn, the way you explore, the way you connect, the way you worship—all of it is the foundation that launches a life of joyful purpose. Our graduates achieve excellence in their careers, but more than that, they go on to make an impact.

About Mississippi College
Founded in 1826, Mississippi College is the oldest institution of higher learning and the second-oldest Baptist institution in the U.S. Whether you aim to land in a prestigious medical school or launch a career in public relations, our 80-plus nationally recognized programs offer the perfect path to get you there. But our liberal arts education goes far beyond preparing you for the next step. Mississippi College infuses Christian faith into every aspect of our culture — including inside our classrooms, where you learn from professors who apply a Biblical worldview to give context, direction, and depth to every lesson.
We equip you to think deeply and understand broadly across disciplines with an academic approach deeply rooted in Christ. You’ll grow intellectually, spiritually, and socially as we prepare you to thrive in a complex world, confident in your convictions but always ready to adapt to any new challenge.
Located in the basement of Alumni Hall, the Commons is an ideal spot to socialize while enjoying Chick-Fil-A or Einstein’s Bros. Bagels.
Completed in 1860, Provine Chapel is MC's oldest building and a Mississippi College icon. Famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright once declared Provine Chapel to be one of the finest pieces of neo-Grecian architecture he'd ever seen in America.
Providence Hill Farm
Three of MC's outdoor programs are headquartered at 2,000-acre Providence Hill Farm, a breathtaking retreat just a 15-minute drive from the Clinton campus.
Jennings Hall Courtyard
Jennings Hall opened in 1907 and it was considered among the most elegant residence halls in the South. Today, Jennings remains a splendid headquarters for faculty offices and classrooms, and houses delightful fountains in its renovated courtyard.
