Civil War Historian Larry Logue Visits Syracuse University
June 2, 2009Larry M. Logue, a Mississippi College history and political science professor who's a noted Civil War specialist, will join the Syracuse University faculty as a senior fellow this summer.
The Clinton resident received a doctorate in American civilization from the University of Pennsylvania. He will be a visiting senior fellow at the Burton Blatt Institute at Syracuse in New York in July and August.
Logue is the author of "To Appomatottox and Beyond: The Civil War Soldier in War and Peace'' published by Ivan R. Dee.
