MC Family Connects at Southern Baptist Convention

Mississippi College alumni, family and friends will gather in Louisville, Ky. for the annual Southern Baptist Convention on Tuesday June 23.

Come by to enjoy free food at an evening reception while catching up on the latest news with MC supporters. MC folks are invited to join the event just down the street from the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center in the Crowne Plaza Hotel. The two-hour gathering begins at 8 p.m.

The reception will be in Coronet Ballroom B on level one of the hotel. Also, MC faithful should stop by booth 747 in the Exposition Center Exhibit Hall to visit with staffers from the Baptist-affiliated university. MC Alumni Affairs Director Ross Aven will be among those on hand to greet the visitors. There was a similar MC gathering at last year's SBC meetings in Indianapolis.

Founded in 1845 in Augusta, Ga., the Southern Baptist Convention represents more than 16 million members who attend more than 42,000 churches in the United States. The two-day convention in Louisville wraps up June 24.
