You know that feeling that you have when you see a trailer to a new movie or show, and you are COUNTING down the days until it comes out? Currently, I feel that way with the season four trailer of Manifest on Netflix, but let me tell you more about a different type of preview. This preview is much more important than Netflix - it is your future! Mississippi College is hosting Preview Day on October 8th, and we would love nothing more than for you to join us! Let me tell you five amazing things that you will encounter at Preview Day.
Scouts are an awesome team of student recruiters on campus! They are truly what make Preview Day so much fun! They will guide you around on campus tours, help answer any questions you have about life at MC, and get to know you! They always bring the energy and hype that makes Preview Day such a blast for everyone involved.
- Tailgating on the Quad
October 8th is not only Preview Day, it is also GAME DAY! The Choctaws will face Shorter University at 2 p.m. in Robinson-Hale Stadium. The Quad will be decorated with a blue and gold sea of tents, people, food, spikeball, and more!
- A Scholarship
That is right, I said it. You will receive a $500 scholarship just for coming to Preview Day! This may be the easiest and most fun way to get a scholarship ever!
- Our Beautiful Campus
At Preview Day, you will experience our amazing campus. You can take an obligatory picture in front of the MC letters, stroll through the Caf patio and the Piazza, and see some of our beautiful buildings like Provine Chapel, Jennings Hall, and the Commons in Alumni that houses our Chick-fil-A and Einstein's Bagels!
- Free Stuff
If there is one thing I love (especially as a college student), it is free stuff! When you attend Preview Day, you will receive a sweet MC t-shirt! There will also be different organizations and tents set up at the tailgate that provide things like stickers, pins, food, and drinks.
All of these things and more are just a few reasons why you should come to Preview Day! Register here to join in on the fun! See you in Clinton!
