Resource Counsel/ Staff Attorney- Mission First Legal Aid Office, School of Law

Mississippi College is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Resource Counsel/ Staff Attorney- Mission First Aid Office, School of Law. This position is responsible for conducting client interviews, providing legal representation and conducting case management for legal aid clients in the Resource Counsel Project. This position reports to the Director of the Mission First Aid Office. This position is funded solely by a grant from the State of Mississippi, Mississippi Supreme Court, Administrative Office of Courts. A job description is attached.

Qualifications

  • JD from an ABA accredited Law School
  • Licensed to practice law in Mississippi
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Commitment to public interest law
  • Ability to work in collaborative and congenial environment
