Financial Aid Counselor and Federal Work Study Coordinator - Office of Financial Aid

Mississippi College is seeking qualified applicants for a Financial Aid Counselor/Work Study Coordinator, Office of Financial Aid. Reporting to the Director of Financial Aid, the selected individual for this role is responsible for managing the Federal Work Study programs as well as counseling and processing financial aid on a daily basis. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates of Art degree at minimum
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Work experience in Financial Aid and/or Higher Education preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe
  • Effective interpersonal communication and relationship building skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • High degree of initiative
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to problem solve and assist when needed
