Ashley Krason is a Senior Instructor of Linguistics and Coordinator of the TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) program in the English and World Languages department. Krason joined MC's staff in 2004 as a Residence Life Associate before transitioning to a full-time faculty member in the Department of Modern Languages in 2009. She currently teaches Cross-Cultural Understanding, The Multicultural Classroom, Applied Linguistics, Food and Culture, and Survey of Global Engagement. Her areas of expertise include TESOL, linguistics, and cross-cultural communication.

Krason has been honored as the Distinguished Lecturer for the College of Arts & Sciences (2023) and the Student Success Champion (2023).

Krason attends Arise Church in Clinton with her husband and three children. While previously serving as the faculty athletic mentor for the MC football team and a faculty sponsor for Kissimee Social Tribe, she currently enjoys serving the MC Women's Basketball team and working closely with the MC Honors College. The highlight of her academic year is the service-learning partnership with Northside and Eastside elementary, where she has had the privilege of overseeing MC students produce a culture fair for 5th graders, raise money for a cultural resource center for the EL teacher, and plan other events like "Celebrate Culture!" for elementary students.
