Instructor - Department of English and Philosophy
Mississippi College's Department of English and Philosophy is hiring a full-time instructor position to begin in August 2023. The appointment would be non-tenure-track and for a one-year term with the possibility of renewal based upon satisfactory performance review, staffing needs, and funding.
Responsibilities would include teaching 5 core composition and/or literature survey courses per semester. Instructors are also expected to hold 10 office hours per week, but no wider university service or research is required.
Candidates must have 18 hours of graduate work in English; an M.A. in English or a related field is preferred.
