Health Services Graduate Courses

The Master in Health Services Administration focuses on the financial protocols, operational challenges and legal nuances unique to healthcare administration careers. Organized into 10 classes over 5 semesters, this graduate program is designed to build the career-ready skills necessary to join mid-level healthcare management at a hospital or other healthcare organization.

The health services graduate courses are taught by instructors who have a dynamic combination of professional and academic experience. Through 30 semester hours of coursework, Health Services Administration students develop foundational knowledge and skills in areas such as: marketing, financial management, healthcare ethics and organizational behavior. In addition, students can tailor their study with two electives integrating courses in healthcare administration, business or communications. Admissions

To apply to Mississippi College’s Master of Health Services Administration, prospective students should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or have at least one year of work experience. To begin the master’s degree, students must have prerequisite coursework in accounting and American government. No GRE score is required.
