About Me

Originally from Memphis, TN, I studied piano with Pernie Wiley for 11 years. I attended Mississippi College from 1970-1974 where I studied piano with Ralph Taylor.  I accompanied for Chapel Choir under Rolland Shaw, Concert Choir under Jack Lyall and for student recitals.  At the University of Mississippi I studied under Natalia DaRosa and Raymond Liebau.  I also was the accompanist for the instrumental department and taught non-major piano classes.  Following graduation, I worked as a staff accompanist from 1987-88.

I have maintained a private piano studio since 1974.  I have been an adjudicator for the Mississippi Music Teachers Association, National Federation of Music Teachers and the Mississippi Baptist Convention Hymn Festival.  I am a member of the National Guild of Piano Teachers.

I have served as pianist for churches in Tennessee, Texas, Arkansas and Mississippi and currently serve at First Baptist Church, Raymond, MS.
