Dr. Joy Kilgo Reger is an Assistant Professor in the Department of History and Political Science. Dr. Reger joined MC’s faculty in 2022 and teaches Constitutional Development, Civil Litigation, Family Law, Introduction to Law, Paralegal Internships, and Law Office Management for the Department of History and Political Science. Dr. Reger is an Adjunct Professor directing the Externship program for the School of Law. Dr. Reger’s publication and research areas include constitutional law and curriculum development. Dr. Reger practices law in Louisiana.
Dr. Reger, a Vicksburg, MS, native, enjoys being back home in Mississippi and spending time with her family. Dr. Reger has three daughters, Ann Cherie Ellison (Husband Carter Ellison), Maggie, and Laura.
