Welcome to Summer 2018! Summer is here and we stand ready to offer a full summer slate of classes. We are pleased that God has placed us here and has given us the opportunity to work as artists and teachers. "To God be the Glory for great things he has done!"
Welcome to Mississippi College and the Department of Art. 2-18 promises to be an exciting time in the life of our department. Our three new degree programs have been very successful -- the Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Studio Art (BFA) (2011), the Master of Science Degree in Graphic Design (MS) (2014), and the Master of Fine Arts (MFA) Degree in Graphic Design (2012). They join our remaining degrees in art education, graphic design, interior design, and studio art to offer a variety of degree programs to meet your needs. Visit us on our website at art.mc.edu or on Facebook at Mississippi College Department of Art. We will be happy to arrange a tour or help you in any way.
Enough about business... This summer I will be teaching one section of Drawing III, IV and 2 sections of Papermaking -- one graduate and one undergraduate. All of these classes will be held in our East Campus location. I am excited about these classes and look forwaard to working with the students.
