601.925.7379Allison Pitts serves as Director of Preclinical Education and Assistant Professor in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies. She earned a Master of Science in Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Mississippi College and was a member of the inaugural graduating class of Mississippi College’s Physician Assistant Studies program. Professor Pitts worked at the University of Mississippi Medical Center as an Otolaryngology Physician Assistant for 12 years before transitioning to academia. Outside of work, she can usually be found reading, planning parties, organizing something that doesn’t need organizing, or trying a new recipe from one of her many cookbooks. She loves spending time with family and friends and firmly believes ice cream deserves its own food group.
