Stephanie Jackson began as an adjunct professor of Sports Law at MC Law in the summer of 2022. She joined as a full time faculty member in the fall of 2025, as the Co-Director of the Sports, Entertainment, Arts, and Law Center. Stephanie currently teaches Sports Law and Entertainment Law. Stephanie’s research is in the area of sports policy, namely transgender policies in women’s sports, and contract law.

Before joining MC Law, Stephanie played women’s professional football in the Women’s Football Alliance as well as the Women’s National Football Conference, winning two championships and also named as a member of Team USA.

Stephanie worked with the Minnesota Vikings as an executive suite intern to the Director of Football Administration, where she learned player contract negotiations and salary cap compliance. During training camp, Stephanie worked with player personnel to scout linebackers and running backs. In 2018, Stephanie worked as a scouting specialist for the New York Jets.

Believing that sports is a platform for bigger change, Stephanie began work with the Ross Initiative in Sports for Equality (R.I.S.E.), working with athletes, organizations, fans, and communities to improve racial equity.

In 2020, Steph partnered with the National Football League as a Women in Flag Football Ambassador to grow the game of flag football, bringing flag football to collegiate sports for the first time in history and providing scholarships to female athletes.

Stephanie is a member of the prestigious New York State Bar and a graduate of the Mississippi College School of Law as well as Tougaloo College.
