Reid Vance
Assistant Professor and Chair - Communication

Reid Vance is an Associate Professor of Communication. He holds the B.S. and M.S. in Communication from Mississippi College, the M.A. in Christian Education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and the Ph.D. in Higher Education from Azusa Pacific University. Reid teaches courses in mass media, journalism, sports media, and political communication, and serves as broadcast Voice of the Choctaws for Mississippi College athletics. Reid has prior experience in college student affairs, campus ministry, church leadership, and Christian camp ministry. A native of Canton, Mississippi, Reid and his wife, Cheli, live in Clinton where they are leaders in the college ministry at First Baptist Church.
