Dr. Amy Williamson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Modern Languages. Dr. Williamson joined MC’s faculty in 2000 and currently teaches Intermediate Spanish I & II, Spanish and Latin American Literature, Spanish Language Short Stories, Film in the Spanish-speaking World, and Spanish Advanced Composition. Her area of expertise is Colonial Latin American Literature.
Dr. Williamson’s language learning journey started when she served with the Peace Corps in Honduras after college. She attends Northside Baptist Church with her family. She is the sponsor of Alpha Mu Gamma, the languages honor society. Each summer she travels with students participating in the MC Study Abroad Program in Salamanca, Spain.
