MC, BibliU launch strategic partnership to modernize retail, improve affordability
Mississippi College has selected BibliU as its new campus store and course materials partner, launching a two-phase initiative to lower textbook costs and improve day-one access for students.
The partnership reflects the University’s continued focus on affordability and student success.
The partnership will be implemented in two phases to ensure a seamless transition for the campus community.
Beginning April 7, BibliU will assume management of MC’s physical and online campus stores. Students and faculty will experience a refreshed retail environment, expanded offerings of technology and supplies, and access to a new, 24/7 e-commerce platform at MCstore.bibliucampus.com.
In summer 2026, the University will launch BibliU Access, a comprehensive course materials program that provides all enrolled students with their required digital materials by the first day of class. Integrated directly into the University’s learning management system, the program will provide a projected savings of up to 50 percent to students compared to traditional purchasing models.
University leadership said the decision to partner with BibliU was guided by a desire for greater transparency, affordability and operational alignment. By moving away from traditional access codes and shipping delays and moving toward inclusive, digitally delivered materials, MC is ensuring that every student is prepared to engage fully from the start of each term.
“Mississippi College is proud to partner with BibliU to improve access to academic resources for our students," said Laura Jackson, MC chief financial officer and chief operating officer. "By shifting to digital delivery of our academic resources, we aim to help students survive (and thrive) in modern college life by making learning more accessible, flexible and efficient. We look forward to welcoming BibliU to the MC family.”
“Mississippi College carries a legacy of leadership and service that spans nearly 200 years,” said David Sherwood, founder and CEO of BibliU. “As MC steps into this new chapter, we’re proud to partner alongside them in removing barriers to learning. Together, we’re building a model that ensures students have the materials they need from the very first day — delivered in a way that reflects the University’s values and commitment to its community.”
BibliU will also supply course material and retail items for the MC Law campus in downtown Jackson. The MC campus store on the Clinton campus is located at 200 Jefferson Street, next door to Brick Street Burgers.
