Music professor Mark Nabholz will conduct both groups performing on the steps in front of the B.C. Rogers Student Center. Titled “Broadway on the Steps,” the show will begin at 6 p.m. that Thursday evening.

Another popular event with Clintonians will be the annual Jazz Band on the Brick Streets Spring concert in the city’s Olde Towne business district. Audience members should bring lawn chairs. The show is set for April 23. The Friday evening performance begins at 6 p.m.

Wrapping up the concert season, the MC Singers will perform on April 25 at Provine Chapel. The program in the historic building begins at 3 p.m. that Sunday.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the MC Singers won’t travel very far in 2021. Two concerts are being planned in Rankin County. One is set for Wednesday, March 24, at Pearl High School. The second concert in late March is likely to occur at Brandon High.
