Assistant Professor, Doctor of Professional Counseling - Department of Psychology and Counseling
Mississippi College invites applications for a tenure track, Assistant Professor, Doctorate of Professional Counseling Program, Department of Psychology and Counseling. The successful candidates must possess a terminal degree in Counselor Education, Psychology, or other relevant area of study. The faculty position will have primary responsibility for teaching online courses, supervising students in completion of the capstone project, and advising/mentoring students as they matriculate through the program.
Founded in 1826, Mississippi College is a private, comprehensive, Christian university affiliated with the Mississippi Baptist Convention. MC offers over 80 undergraduate majors, over 50 graduate programs, and has an enrollment of approximately 5,000 students. The campus is located in Clinton, MS which is about 10 miles west of the capital city of Jackson.
