Instructor - Department of Chemistry
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Mississippi College seeks to fill a full-time position of Instructor of Chemistry with a starting date of January or August 2022.The successful candidate will possess a Master’s degree with at least 18 hours of graduate work in Chemistry. The successful applicant will teach General Chemistry I and II and coordinate the General Chemistry laboratory.
The ACS approved department consists of 5 full-time faculty and offers the BS and MS degrees. To fulfill its mission of teaching and research, the department maintains instrumentation including FT-IR, GC-MS, UV-Vis and FT-NMR.
Founded in 1826, Mississippi College, Clinton, Mississippi, is a private, comprehensive University with 80 undergraduate majors,50 graduate programs and over 4,200 students. Mississippi College is affiliated with the Mississippi Baptist Convention and faculty must be of the Christian faith.
