Simulation Support Specialist - School of Nursing
Mississippi Christian University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Simulation Support Specialist, School of Nursing. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Nursing Skills Center and Simulation Laboratory. This role supports faculty by preparing simulation and skills environments, maintaining equipment and supplies, supervising student workers, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering or other health-related degree preferred.
- If a nursing degree is held, applicant must also have a current, unencumbered Mississippi RN license.
- Minimum of two years of recent hospital experience preferred.
- Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) and/or Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist (CHSOS) preferred.
