Clinical Professor and Director of Experiential Learning - School of Law

The Mississippi College School of Law is seeking qualified applicants for the full-time position of Clinical Professor and Director of Experiential Learning beginning in June 2026.

The Director of Experiential Learning will provide strategic vision, leadership, and administrative oversight for the law school's experiential education programs, including clinics, externships, and simulation courses. The Director will ensure that all experiential offerings reflect best practices in legal education, comply with ABA accreditation requirements, and prepare students for practice through hands-on, skills-based learning.

This position will provide oversight of the clinical instructors and externship coordinator and collaborate closely with the Associate Dean and faculty teaching simulation courses. The Director will also serve as a resource for students and faculty, advancing the law school's mission to produce practice-ready graduates.

Desired Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an ABA accredited law school and a strong academic record
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Extensive practice and/or departmental leadership experience
