Adjunct Clinical Faculty - Mental Health Nursing
Mississippi College School of Nursing invites applications for adjunct clinical faculty in Mental Health Nursing. Adjunct faculty play a vital role in preparing skilled, compassionate nurses by facilitating student learning in clinical settings and supporting their development of professional nursing competencies.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Facilitate student learning and clinical experiences in assigned nursing settings.
- Supervise, guide, and evaluate students during clinical rotations.
- Grade associated clinical assignments and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Evaluate student performance based on established course and clinical objectives.
- Collaborate with full-time faculty to ensure consistency in course outcomes and clinical expectations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Nursing required.
- Active, unencumbered RN license in Mississippi.
- Minimum of one year of recent clinical experience in mental health nursing practice.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Must satisfy a criminal history background check.
- Must be able to meet and provide documentation of all health and compliance
requirements as designated by the clinical facility.
