Pursue your calling in Christian ministry.
MC’s focus on the bible and the Christian mission prepares you to Serve wherever you’re called
The Department of Christian Studies is one of the longest-standing departments on campus. Courses in religion have been part of the MC curriculum since at least 1852. That rich heritage in Christian Studies continues today. Be part of a tradition focused on training you to learn the Bible, prepare for ministry, and pursue your calling from Mississippi to the world. We do this with a curriculum that focuses on three different areas—Bible, ministry, and missions. No matter your calling, we can prepare you to serve the Lord faithfully for the rest of your life.
I am especially thankful for the Christian Studies department at Mississippi Christian University. God has used it to show me what it means to be a faithful minister of the Gospel. Their reverence for the word of God coupled with their relational intentionality has been fruitful to demonstrate what it looks like to love God and love people while on mission for Jesus.
