MC Offers Creative Writing Course

The Mississippi College Office of Continuing Education is offering an introduction to the fundamentals of creative writing.

This writing intensive course will explore research techniques, character and plot development, theme and strategy, and setting. Special activities, games and class discussion will facilitate the writing process. The class meets Thursday evenings from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Oct. 21, 28, Nov. 4, 11, 18.  The course fee is $100. 

Course instructor will be author Cynthia Profilet who has taught Creative Writing for more than twenty years. Her first book, Kamal’s Quest won the New York Society Children’s Merit Book Award.
