Academic Assistance
MC offers several options for assistance with courses. The Writing Center, Supplemental Instruction, and Departmental Tutoring are available on campus. The most effective method will vary by course.
The Writing Center
Located in the Leland Speed Library, The Writing Center can support any written assignment through one-on-one assistance. Virtual and asynchronous options are available. To schedule an appointment or learn more information, please visit https://www.mc.edu/academics/writing-center/.
Supplemental Instruction (SI)
Supplemental Instruction supports courses that have proven to be more challenging for students. Peer leaders host two interactive weekly review sessions to help students learn to master course content in a supportive and collaborative environment.
