We appreciate your interest in our Driver Education Endorsement program here at MC!

The details of the program:

Three courses are provided in a one-month, fully-online format:

  • KIN 210 - Introduction to Driver Education (3 hours)
  • KIN 219 - General Principles of Safety (3 hours)
  • KIN 304 - Methods and Materials of Driver Education (3 hours)

Students must already have a 3-hour college first aid/CPR course on their transcripts to apply for the supplemental endorsement after completing the program. If not previously taken, that course may also be taken at MC during the summer term.

Coursework will be completed online through MC’s Canvas platform.

Students should seek enrollment through the Office of Admissions – please make sure to note that you are a prospective driver education student with the Department of Kinesiology in all correspondence with Admissions. Additional information can be found in the  Mississippi College catalog or the Teacher Education website
