Hundreds of prospective Mississippi College students are signing up to attend Fall 2019 Preview Days.

The first event is set for September 14. It’s a nice way for high school students to meet President Blake Thompson, attend classes, discover campus organizations and cheer for the Choctaws at a football game.

Preview Day visitors will travel to the Clinton campus from across the Southeast and other parts of the nation.

Want to tailgate on the Quad, tour the Clinton campus or get to know current MC student leaders?

It all happens on Preview Day. Student Government Association leaders, members of social tribes and clubs along with staffers with Christian ministries will be delighted to answer questions.

There are trips to the Cadaver Lab as well as sessions for parents on financial aid that are booked, too. Faculty members will be on hand to discuss their entire lineup of academic programs – from business to electrical engineering.

Activities for the first Fall Preview Day begin that Saturday at 8:30 a.m. Guests are also invited to learn more about MC’s equestrian, bass fishing, clay shooting and archery teams during a visit to Providence Hill Farm.

The Choctaws football game at Robinson-Hale Stadium will see the Blue & Gold face Albany State University. The September 14 kickoff is 7 p.m.

Mississippi College’s second Fall Preview Day of 2019 will be November 16. On that Saturday, MC’s football squad will battle Gulf South Conference rival Delta State University. The Mississippi schools are located two hours apart. Kickoff at Robinson-Hale Stadium is set for 2 p.m. It will also mark Senior Day for Choctaws football players and families.

As Mississippi College soon begins its 194th academic year, students can register for Preview Day activities by going to www.mc.edu/previewday or contacting admissions office staffers at 601-925-3800.
