MC’s storied athletics program is one of the university’s most visual assets, raising the institution’s profile and helping drive MC’s rise to a Christian university of national distinction.

At MC, student-athletes rise. They discover their purpose, deepen their faith and become leaders prepared to make an impact far beyond the field or court.
Athletics at MC are about more than competition. For many student-athletes, their experience as a Choctaw becomes a path to a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
Athletics also play an important role in attracting talented students to MC. Student-athletes contribute to the life of the University as leaders, classmates and active members of the campus community. After graduation, they carry those experiences with them as engaged alumni, mentors and ambassadors for Christ.
Facility Improvements
Over the past 50 years, MC has produced 47 conference championships. During the 2024-25 season, 16 of MC’s 17 teams competed in postseason play.
The roster of achievements is impressive, and the facilities that support MC’s athletics should reach that same level. The training and competitive facilities for signature sports, including baseball, soccer, softball, and track, will rise to the standards that current athletes deserve and prospective recruits expect.
