Dear MC Staff,
Happy New Year!
I hope you had an opportunity to relax and enjoy the holidays after working so hard to make last semester a safe success. Thank you for the sacrifices you made, the inconveniences you worked around, and your hard work on behalf of MC and our students.
As we make a fresh start together in 2021, I wanted to remind you of some important dates and guidelines for the spring semester.
January 4 Offices open, and MC staff returns to campus.
January 13 Move-in week begins.
January 18 Martin Luther King Day Holiday
January 19 Classes begin.
March 2 Spring Break Day (in place of full Spring Break)
April 2 Good Friday Holiday
April 5 Easter Monday Holiday
A Safe Return to Campus
Our focus now is on making a safe return to campus by following MC’s COVID-19 guidelines.
MC is offering free COVID testing for staff in the Nursing Annex this week. Clinic hours are from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The clinic will be closed on the afternoon of Tuesday, January 5. Additional dates and times are listed on the Strong & Courageous website.
The same campus safety guidelines you followed in the fall (mandatory use of masks on campus, cleaning processes, keeping classrooms at 50% capacity, and social distancing guidelines) will remain in place for the spring semester.
IT is Here to Help
