Weekly Activities
Vision
Every Monday at 6:30pm, the BSU gathers for worship at First Baptist Church, Clinton. This time of worship, led by the Vision Lead Team, is open for all MC students and features a different minister or speaker sharing the Word each week.
International Nights
While everything the BSU does is open to all students, every Tuesday at 7:00 pm, we provide an opportunity specifically for international students to develop community with one another through games, cultural exchange, and conversational English.
Community Missions
Community Missions meets at 2:30pm on Wednesdays to go serve the community in different ways each week. Some ways we have served the community recently is going to We Will Go, spending time at Brookdale Senior Living, volunteering at the 4 C’s, prayer walking our campus, & many other partnerships in the Clinton/Jackson area.
Discipleship Groups
Our goals with all discipleship groups is to provide a meaningful way for you to grow deeper in your faith beyond what you may experience just from a large group worship setting. We offer a variety of groups that you can choose from, depending on what may benefit you the most from where you are spiritually. If you are interested in being a part of a discipleship group, drop by the BSU house or ask one of our lead team members to find out more info!

- Family groups – These are co-ed groups that will be lead by both male and female leaders. These groups will go through a book of the Bible with their leaders so you can learn God’s Word on a deeper level.
- Koinonia groups – These are smaller, gender specific groups, guys only or girls only, where your leader will also go through a book of the Bible with you, and you will get to know your leader and other group members on a personal level.
- 1-on-1 groups - You will be partnered with a person on lead team to be discipled by them outside of a group setting. You will meet together on a weekly basis just the 2 of you to get to know each other and walk through a book of the Bible together. The goal is not only for you to grow closer in your relationship with the Lord, but also to equip you to be able to disciple someone else.
