Do I have to meet certain qualifications to use the Pantry? All MC students and employees are eligible to shop at the Pantry. There are no qualifications. Use the Pantry as often as you need it, depending on your individual needs.

Do I have to pay to use the Pantry? No, use of the Pantry is free of charge.

How many times and how often can I visit the Pantry? You can visit the Pantry up to three times per week and take up to 12 items on each visit.

Will my visit to the Pantry be confidential? Yes. All staff and volunteers will complete confidentiality training. You will not be asked for your name or ID. The Pantry is located in a discreet hallway allowing for ease of access. You may be asked to fill out an anonymous survey to help us better serve our campus. A staff member or volunteer may weigh the food or count the items as you leave the Pantry in order to estimate the number of meals provided and aid in our planning and assessment of the Pantry.

What days/hours is the Pantry open? The Pantry will be open Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:00pm-3:00pm and Fridays from 9:00am-11:00am during the Fall and Spring semesters. If you have need of the Pantry but are unable to visit during this time, please call 601.925.3267 or email sbarnes@mc.edu.

I am a Clinton community member. Can I use the MC Food Pantry? Although we recognize that food insecurity exists in our community beyond the members of the MC campus, we are unable to effectively serve those outside of our campus at this time. If you are not a student or employee of MC but are experiencing food insecurity, we would love to connect you with some local food pantries: Second Harvest, The Care Center, and The 4 C's

I would like to donate to the Pantry. What items are most needed? Visit the "Get Involved" page for an up-to-date list of needed items.

How can I volunteer with the Pantry? Please contact Shari Barnes at sbarnes@mc.edu.
