Employee matching gift programs are corporate giving initiatives where companies match donations made by their employees to eligible nonprofits. It’s an easy way to double your impact—and since Mississippi College is a registered 501(c)(3), your gift qualifies for most programs.

How do I request a matching gift?
Requesting a match usually takes just a few minutes and must be initiated by the donor. You can do this by completing your company’s online or paper matching gift form. Use the search tool above to find your employer and access specific instructions.
What if I submit my match outside of MC’s online form?
If you submit a matching gift or volunteer grant separately from our online giving form or matching gifts page, please notify the Mississippi College Foundation at 601.925.3968 or giving@mc.edu so we can properly track your match.
What if I forget to submit my matching gift?
If you selected your company at the time of donation but didn’t complete your match, don’t worry—you’ll receive a reminder email to finish the process. Most companies use an all-electronic submission process for convenience.
Are matching gifts tax-deductible?
Your personal donation to Mississippi College is tax-deductible, but the matching portion contributed by your employer is not. Each party can only claim deductions for contributions they personally make.
