Transfer Course Equivalencies

The Transfer Course Equivalencies information linked below is for unofficial reference only and does not represent a comprehensive list of all possible transfer equivalencies at Mississippi College. It reflects courses evaluated to date; however, additional equivalencies may be available. Once an official transcript is submitted during the Admissions process, our transcript evaluators will determine this on a case-by-case basis.

Prospective transfer students should note that Mississippi College accepts up to 65 hours of coursework from a 2-year college. Please note that transfer credits do not count toward a student’s institutional GPA at Mississippi College.

Additionally, while this table includes courses from institutions using a quarter system, a four-credit quarter-hour course may not be equivalent to a three-credit semester course.

If you see TVNA XXX on your DegreeWorks Degree Evaluation, what does this mean?

TVNA XXX is Technical, Vocational or Non-Accredited coursework that you completed at another institution which has been accepted as Elective Credit at Mississippi College.  The Mississippi College Catalog limits TVNA credit to a maximum of 10 hours.

To request that TVNA XXX credit be reviewed to meet a specific degree requirement, fill out the TVNA form (Steps 1-4) with the assistance of your Advisor.  Include the course syllabus with the form.  Your Advisor will submit the form for review and will be your contact for any updates.
