The following procedures should be followed in the event of the Death of a Student or Students:
- Call the Office of Public Safety at 601.925.3204 and provide the following information:
- State your name.
- State the problem.
- State the name(s) of the student(s) who were involved.
- Give the location and time of the death(s) along with any other information you may have.
- Call the Office of Student Affairs at 601.925.3809 and provide the appropriate information.
- Let the Office of Student Affairs handle all other contacts at this point - Do not contact parents or family members.
