Students are required to have a reliable laptop computer that can support all academic, testing, and communication needs throughout the PA Program.
Required Hardware
- Current Windows or macOS laptop
- Reliable Wi-Fi capability
- Built-in or external webcam and microphone
- At least one USB port or appropriate adapter
- Battery capable of supporting normal classroom and testing use
- Personal printer
Required Software and Access
- Current, fully updated operating system
- Current web browser
- Microsoft 365 or equivalent ability to open and edit Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files
- Ability to open and save PDF files
- Access to Mississippi Christian University email
- Ability to access and use Canvas, ExamSoft, and other Program-required platforms
- Current antivirus and security protections
