MCPA Simulation Center
We are proud to offer a state-of-the-art simulation center as part of our training program. This lab features the SimMan 3G Plus high-fidelity simulation mannequin (Billie Ruben), designed to represent a wide range of patient scenarios and better prepare our students for real-world clinical situations.
Key capabilities of this simulation model include interchangeable facial features, fully articulating arms, non-invasive blood pressure monitoring, pulse oximetry, humeral intraosseous access, deltoid intramuscular injection capability, and LiveShock functionality
The simulation center is located on the first floor of the Baptist Healthplex Building. While there is a scenario running, students who are not participating will watch live from the MCPA classroom. Once the scenario is over, all students will return to the MCPA classroom for debriefing.
Medical Science Building
While attending the PA program at MC, you will have access to the new Mississippi College Medical Science facility which includes a 4,800 sqare-foot, state-of-the-art cadaver lab, histology lab, two spacious lecture halls, and four faculty research labs.
The cadaver lab can accommodate 21 cadavers, providing ample opportunity for students to further prepare themselves for the PA profession. This is the only facility of its kind in the state of Mississippi.
