A.E. Wood Coliseum
Best known as the home court for Mississippi College basketball teams, the 3,400-seat A.E. Wood Coliseum also hosts MC graduations, Christian concerts, Clinton High commencements and other special events. Built in the late 1970s, the Golden Dome is one of the landmarks on the Clinton campus that's visible to thousands of motorists each day along I-20. In recent years, the MC Lady Choctaws hoops team has hosted basketball tournaments at the coliseum to benefit such causes as the Salvation Army.
