An I-20 will not be issued to a prospective student if the original application documents and seat deposit have not been submitted. 

Undergraduate admission requirements for international students:

  1. A fully completed admission undergraduate application by the application deadline.
  2. Language Requirements
  3. International Financial Verification Form
    A current bank statement from parents or sponsor indicating the ability to finance study during one full year at Mississippi College. Please contact the International Institute office to determine the current amount required.
  4. Transcripts
    Transcripts of all high school and college grades with literal translations into English are required. At the discretion of Mississippi College, a student may be required, at his or her expense, to provide a course-by-course evaluation from a trusted evaluation service selected by Mississippi College.
  5. High school diploma
  6. Medical History
    Questions about your medical history should be answered in your application. Early proof of MMR immunization must be submitted with application before your departure to the USA. The QuantiFERON TB screening must be completed in the USA. Proof of MMR and a TB screening procedures must be completed before you can attend in-person classes.
  7. Aptitude Test scores (ACT, SAT or CLT)
    The university bases some freshman scholarships on a matrix between high school grade point average and ACT, SAT or CLT scores. Hence, if you score above a threshold, you can gain extra "opportunity grants" or better. Your scores must be registered in your application before your acceptance letter to be considered for this kind of a scholarship.

Graduate admission requirements for international students:

  1. Complete a Graduate Admissions Application by the deadline.
  2. Meet the Language Requirement for graduate students.  
  3. Submit the International Financial Verification Form on the application status page.

  4. Provide College Transcripts
    Transcripts must show your graduation date. At the discretion of Mississippi College, a student may be required, at personal expense, to provide a course-by-course evaluation from a trusted evaluation service selected by Mississippi College.
  5. Submit Medical Records
    Proof of MMR immunizations need to be submitted before your departure to the USA.
    A QuantiFERON TB screening will be mandatory upon arrival to the USA.
    Proof of MMR and TB screening must be completed before attending in-person classes.
  6. Contact specific departments regarding other necessary Department Specific Documents
    Specific intended departments may have required documents. The department should be contacted directly for more information.
