provides financial assistance to all incoming full-time, undergraduate international students! This is for
international students who are not already receiving full or substantial scholarships from other sources.
Awards are only available for fall and spring semesters, and not available during the summer semester.

2026 STELLAR Student SCHOLARSHIP:

There is currently an opportunity to receive an additional scholarship for the Fall 2026 semester. The 2026 Stellar Student Scholarship is an $8,000 scholarship awarded each year to five applicants who are admitted in the Fall Semester. To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must be planning to enroll full-time at Mississippi College for the Fall 2026 Semester. Applicants must submit a one-page single-spaced essay answering one of the following prompts:

·         Describe a time you stepped outside of your comfort zone and how it changed you.
·         Describe a mistake you made that taught you a valuable life lesson. How did you learn and grow from it?
·         Describe a long-term goal you have; what steps are you taking toward that goal?

Applicants must include their name and the topic that they have chosen at the top of their essay. Applicants cannot use AI to craft their essay or otherwise use any unoriginal material. Each essay will be reviewed by a committee who will determine scholarship awardees. Additional factors such as English proficiency test scores (Duolingo, IELTS, TOEFL) and Standardized Test Scores (ACT/SAT/CLT, Etc) will also be considered in the award process. Scholarships can be awarded on a rolling basis, so early application is encouraged. Please email essays to mcoge@mc.edu. Awardees will be notified by June 19, 2026 or before.
