Entering transfer students for the Fall of 2019 with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher are invited to compete in MC's Transfer Scholarship Competition.  A select number of students will be chosen for additional scholarships based upon an interview and submission of the items listed below.

The Competition

The Transfer Scholarship Competition for those entering in Fall 2019 will be held on Friday, April 26, and June 21, 2019.  Students can choose either date to attend. Interviews will be conducted every 30 minutes throughout the day.  Business attire is requested.

Interviewees are evaluated based upon an interview with an admissions panel and their submission of a resume and written essay.  Interviews are conducted in a panel format, with 3-4 students interviewing at one time.  Scores from each area are calculated to determine the top winners.

In order to interview for additional scholarships, students must register online for their desired interview date.  Interview time preference may be given, and we will do our best to accommodate.  Your interview time will be assigned after you register and you will be notified shortly thereafter.

There are a limited number of these top-tier awards, however, everyone who attends the interview competition who does not receive one of the top awards will receive an additional $1,000 per year ($500 if off campus) to their base award offer.  These same students may also receive up to $2,000 in stackable scholarships if the criteria are met.

*Trustee Scholars not eligible for stackable scholarships.
**Trustee, Distinction and Honors scholarships are only awarded to students over 4-6 consecutive semesters, depending upon the classification of the student when they enroll.
