Entering transfer students for the Spring of 2023 with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher are invited to compete in MC's Transfer Scholarship Competition.

Spring 2023 Transfer Scholarship Competition

If you are a transfer student with a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher, you may compete in MC’s Transfer Scholarship Competition. For students entering MC in the Spring of 2023, the competition will be November 11, 2022. Scholarships will be awarded ranging from an additional $1,500 to $10,000 per year added to your current scholarship package. Plus, no one will leave empty handed! Every student who attends the competition will receive a minimum of $1,000 ($500 if off campus) added to their current scholarship award.

The Competition

Participants will be evaluated based upon an interview with the Admissions Committee and the submission of an essay and resume.  Interviews are conducted in a panel format, with 3-4 students interviewing at one time. Essays and resumes are graded by MC staff and faculty members. Scores from each area are calculated to determine the levels of additional scholarship.

Requirements & Registration

In order to interview in the competition for additional scholarships, students must register online for the competition (see below).  Your interview time will be assigned after you register and you will be notified shortly thereafter.

Students must complete the following in order to be eligible for additional awards:

  • Must be provisionally accepted in Admissions
  • Registration of an interview time (see below)
