A Minor for Non-education Majors.

The Educational Foundations Minor is available to non-education majors who want to gain experience and knowledge in the field of education or who may be considering a career in education.

The education minor is not an approved MDE licensure program and does not lead to educator licensure at any level. As a part of the Teacher Education and Leadership Department, this minor seeks to empower students with a basic understanding of the principles and theories of teaching and learning. The minor consists of completion of 9 hours of required courses and an additional 9 hours of Education elective courses.
